Zinc Wire For Metallising

Vinsons Industries offers Zinc Wire for Metallising (also known as spray coating/galvanising), the best and widely applied process for the protection of iron and steel against water and atmospheric corrosion. The life of steel structure coated by spraying zinc with a layer of 100 micron is increased by about 40 years under normal atmosphere and about 20 years under heavy corrosive marine conditions. There are unlimited applications of zinc spraying namely: LPG cylinders, pipe lines, sluice gates and valves, offshore oil platforms, dams and bridges, water tanks, railway line towers, transformers, power transmission towers, wind mill structures, road signs, street lamps, metal frames, electrical equipments, ship building, pressure vessels, agricultural equipments, oil rigs, reconditioning of worn-out/corroded surfaces, electromagnetic shielding of plastics, etc. The recommended coating thickness for anticorrosion spray metallising is 40 to 120 microns on steel structures. Zinc wire of purity 99.99% is also recommended for spraying the edges of capacitor elements of either metallised polypropylene film or metallised polyester film. The purity of 99.99% (+) Zn ensures strong adhesion, good solderability and fine grain structure on the metallised edges of the capacitor elements. The company manufactures specially processed pure zinc wire of 99.99% purity using special high grade zinc metal to ensure best quality of zinc wire. The wire is clean, glossy, uniform composition and quality, free of joints, seams, cracks, nicks or burrs; it is soft and is capable of easy uncoiling and is free from bends, kinks or cavities that could prevent its passage through the metal spray guns.
