Finolex Cables Limited, the flagship company of the Finolex Group started in 1956. It is India's most reputed and largest manufacturer of a wide range of electrical and telecommunication cables. All its manufacturing units have ISO 9001 certification. The company offers telephone and switchboard cables up to 100 pairs and optic fibre cables for telecommunications. The cable conductor of these paired cables is of pure, solid annealed, high conductivity bare copper insulated with special grade high density polyethylene (HDPE) with the cores bunched together to minimise cross-talk. The laid-up cable is taped with polyester and further jacketed with a fire retardant PVC compound with high oxygen and temperature index.
