Asian Wires & Cables Industries, an ISO: 9001-2000 certified company, is one of the leading and organised manufacturers of electrical and electronics wires and cables under the name and style of V-Marc brand covering IS: 694/90, IS: 1554 (Pt-I)/88 and IS: 7098 (Pt-I)/88 and IS: 14255/95 (with latest amendment). The company also manufactures auto cables, battery cables and three core flat submersible cables. Submersible cables are available with the following characteristics: Conductor – annealed high conductivity, electrolytic grade bare flexible conductor uniformly and compact bunched conforming to IS: 694:1990; Insulation – specially formulated high grade of PVC compound conforming to IS: 694:1990 Type A; Colour of insulation – red, yellow and blue; Sizes – 1.5 sq.mm up to 50 sq.mm; Sheath – the insulated conductors are laid up in flat parallel position, and covered with specially formulated PVC compound resistant to water alkalis, moisture, grease, etc., conforming to IS: 694:1990; and the colour of outer sheath is black. The cables are supplied in coils of 100-mtr length or wooden drums of 500 mtr. Selection guide for submersible cable: the full load current for submersible pump motors, 3-phase, 50 cycles, 440 V.
