They can withstand high voltages throughout their temperature range. They can resist flame and fire without protective braids, which are non-toxic. They have outstanding heat ageing properties and can resist the effect of weather, ozone, and radiation. They are unaffected by most chemicals, oils and solvents, and are odourless. They are abrasion resistant.
