Semi-rigid coaxial cable for super high frequency connections up to 20 GHz, conforming to RG402 requirements (also called 141 cable), is now available. The cable is made up of an inner conductor of silver plated copper clad steel (0.92 mm OD), a dielectric layer of PTFE and an outer conductor (3.58 mm OD) of deoxidized and annealed electrolytic bare copper tube. The product is LCSO and CDoT approved for use in high frequency transmission equipment. Application areas include, use with wave guides, microwave transmission and relay lines, low noise amplifier circuits, perfectly screened connections and high speed data transmission lines. The solid outer conductor provides 100% screening, excellent mechanical strength and resistance to vibration stresses. The continuous operating temperature range is -40?C to +125?C, impedance at 200 MHz is 50 ohms and attenuation at 20 GHz is 2.3 dB/metre. These cables are easy to strip, solderable and connectors are easily installed with standard tooling and available in single lengths up to 6 metres. Supplies are made with comprehensive test report with actual test data.
