Sanghvi Aerospace Pvt Ltd, an ISO 9002 company, offers a range of wires and cables with a composite insulation of Polyimide and PTFE as per MIL-W-22759/slash sheets 80 to 92, with the approval of Regional Centre for Military Airworthiness for use in airborne applications, such as in onboard instruments, airframe and for interconnect wiring. These types of wires are constructed with polyimide/PTFE tape wrapped around the conductor as primary insulation and an external layer PTFE tape wrapped and fused together. This construction combines the excellent electrical and mechanical properties of polyimide with the outstanding resistance to chemicals, fluids and moisture exhibited by PTFE. The result is a compact and lightweight construction with wet and dry are tracking resistance, flexibility and reliability available for aerospace use today. They are suitable for use at temperatures between -65?C and +200?C, at operating voltages up to 600 V, are inert to most chemicals and fluids even at elevated temperature and pressure, resistant to radiation and exhibit extremely low outgassing properties. These wires and cables with an excellent balance of operating characteristics are currently in use by the leading manufacturers of aircraft in the world. Comprehensive in-house production and test facilities are combined with a quality control system that assures a reliable product and complete traceability of material and process data. The wires are available in ten solid colours and colour striping for identification. Multi-crore cables are available in various constructions such as twisted pairs, twisted and jacketed and twisted-shielded (with isolator as optional) and jacketed styles. Supplies are made with comprehensive test report with actual test data. Conductors are silver/nickel/ tin plated copper or high strength copper alloy.
