Ptfe Insulated Wires And Cables

Alfa Technologies has launched a full range of PTFE wires and cables with the trade name Toptef. The quality of the wires is as per international standards and customised to suit quite a wide range of applications. The company offers silver plated copper (SPC), nickel plated copper (NPC), copper clad steel, copper cadmium alloy and bore copper conductors with PTFE insulation. The wires and cables are available with single/multi strand conductors. Braiding and shielding may be done as per customer's requirements. The company has also introduced a new economical range of PTFE wires and cables with bare copper conductors for general purpose usage. The main qualities of PTFE insulation are: no aging effect, wide temperature range (-200 C to +260 C), chemical resistant, fire proof, thin insulation (space saving), lighter weight, non-toxic, bio-compatible, low dielectric constant (2.1) and wide frequency range (DC to 10,000 MHz). The insulation is done for 250 V (ET type), 600 V (E type) and 1000 V (EE type). These wires and cables are generally used in RTDs, thermocouples, electronic equipment, X-ray machines, computers, low wattage heaters, thermopads, high temperature control valves, ovens, furnaces, power control panels, refrigeration, air conditioning, load cells, transducers, high performance motors, medical instruments, infra red sensing systems, elevators, telecommunication, aeronautics, aviation, marine, defence, space research and nuclear research. The economic grade wires with copper conductors may be used for wiring in commercial complexes, industries, theatres, houses and all other places where high reliability against short circuiting, fire, aging effect, high or low temperature and toxicity, is required. The wires and cables are available in all colours and sizes. The quality certificate is provided with each consignment and invoice conforming to the quality as per ASTM and JSS standards.
