The Optical Ribbon Cable separates and protects fibres in a multi-core optical fibre ribbon (such as 12 cores) through a special fan-out splitter, so as to connect each fibre through a connector to make the fibres connection on ODF. This has low insertion loss; high return loss; good duplication and interchangeability.
Insertion loss (typical value) (dB): multi-mode: 0.1, single-mode: 0.2; duplicated (dB): ≤0.1; interchangeable (dB): ≤0.2; inserts pulls out the number of times (time): ≥1000; operating temperature (°C): -40 to +80.
