FRP Sections, Cable Trays, Ladder & Earthing Rods

These sections have very high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, UV resistance, high electrical insulation and very smooth and aesthetic finish. The sections are available in various shapes and sizes as per our product catalogue in isopthalic polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resins reinforced with glass fibre. The selection of resin depends on the end-use, i.e., corrosive application, electrical insulation application and operating temperature. FRP sections such as rods, flats, angles, channels, tubes, studs and nuts are used in HT transformers and switchgear for various insulating and mounting applications, drop out fuse tubes, etc. These are also used to manufacture FRP cable trays, ladders, earthing rods, gratings, etc. FRP cable trays are suitable for most corrosive atmospheres such as transformers offshore and coastal sites, chemical plants, refineries, pharmaceutical, food and drug industries, etc. They are ideally suitable for acidic and chlorine atmospheres; are strong and easily take power cable load, meeting EIL and Nema Specifications. These are fire retardant and UV resistant, approved, recommended and used by most of the leading consultants and industries in India. The trays are available as ladder type and perforated or solid bottom channel type in width from 50 mm to 1000 mm in standard length of 3 mtr. Other lengths of 2 mtr to 6 mtr can also be given on special request. Cable tray accessories such as bends, tees, coupler planes, hardware, etc., are also available separately. The company also manufacturers FRP ladders for safe electrical maintenance or installation from 2-10 mtr height in wall support type single and extendable version. Ercon ladders are suitable for 132 kV line maintenance. Earthing and operating rods are made from pultruded FRP tubes provided with metallic clamp on the top and earthing cable with earthing clamp. Earthing rods are available in 2-5 mtr lengths.
