Flux Cored Wires

Maruti Coreflux, an ISO 9001-2000 company, is engaged in manufacture and sale of Flux Cored Wires. An associate of the well known Maruti Weld Limited welding consumables company, it specialises in flux cored wires for joining and surfacing. Advantages of flux cored wire: the addition of flux to the continuous feeding welding wire gives us certain advantages over solid wire as under – forms a slag covering on the molten weld pool and protects it from atmosphere during solidification; flux enables addition of alloying elements to weld deposit for desired weld metal properties; increased deposition efficiency; better results in positional welding and thicker sections; and stable arc which maintains smoothness and least spatter. Characteristics of flux cored wires, Model FC71-T5: a flux cored wire producing sound radiographic welds; and for welding of structural and boiler quality steels with a minimum UTS up to 52 kg/mm2. Applications: welding of structural and boiler-quality steels including IS226, IS2002, IS2062, DIN17115 HIV, SA285 Grade C, SA414 Grade C, D, E, etc.
