Optical Cable Corporation offers Fibre Optic Cable, DX Series. This is a flame-retardant; low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) cable, rugged in construction and suitable for deck applications. This distribution cable is available in 2 to 6 fibre double-jacketed construction. Optical fibre range includes 62.5/125, 50/125, and single-mode available with 500-µm fibre. The cable is DNV certified. Areas of application: used in signalling, communication, and data transmission for fixed and temporary networks for use in high speed ships, light craft, petrochemical offshore drilling structures such as mobile offshore drilling units (MODU"s), floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels, tension leg platforms (TLP), liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals and ships, workboats, floatels, drillships, etc.
