Databus Cable As Per Mil-Std-1553B

Flu-Tef Industries offers a Databus Cable with PTFE insulation for use in high temperature applications with excellent thermal, physical and electrical properties. The cable construction incorporates a combination of two layers of silver plated high strength copper alloy wire braid with a wrap of high permeability metallic tape to achieve a high level of shielding without compromising on flexibility in a compact external dipmeter of only 4 mm. The special performance features are controlled characteristic impedance, low attenuation, high immunity to electromagnetic noise and interference and is usable at frequencies up to 30 MHz. The cable is suitable for use at temperatures between -55?C and +200?C, is inert to most chemicals and fluids even at elevated temperature and pressure and resistant to soldering damage. These cables are approved by LCSO and are manufactured and tested to MIL-STD-1553B requirements. Application areas include computer networking (LAN, WAN, Ethernet, Airborne Computers, etc), Digital telephone exchange, Process control instrumentation and power generation and distribution control systems where fidelity of data transmission is critical. Comprehensive in-house production and test facilities are combined with a quality control system that assures a zero defect' product and complete traceability of material and process data.
