New Delhi-based Bhansali Cables manufactures control cables that transmit electricity and signals so that transformation of signals from low voltage can be avoided to control motors and relays. Electromagnetic disturbances have no influence due to the strength of the signals. The high flexibility in control cables is achieved by the use of fine wire copper strands, short lay lengths and by powdering of the cores to decrease and maintain core separation. The main characteristics of these control cables include stranded/solid conductor, multi-core cables (available up to 61 cores), primary insulation (type A, type C), voltage grade 1100 volts, core identification as per ISI colour along with numbering, sheath materials PVC ST-1, ST-2, HR, FRLS, armoured/unarmoured (round wire/flat strip), jacket materials PVC ST-1, ST-2, HR, FRLS. Features: Solid/stranded annealed plain high conductivity electrolytic grade copper/aluminium conductor Individual core insulated with extruded PVC compound type "A" All such cores laid up in a common covering of PVC called inner sheath and finally jacketed with extruded PVC type ST-1 Galvanised mild steel wire/strip for armouring
