Empire Cables, an ISO 900-2001company, is one of India’s youngest independent wire and cable manufacturers, with a track record of over a decade of service to the electrical and automobile industries. It is among the leading manufacturers of wires and cables in northern India with the largest dealer and distributor network all over the country. It manufactures a complete range of low tension (1100 V grade) cables. The company offers Control Cables used for control circuits in power plants and other similar industrial installations and signalling network of railways, with or without FR/FRLS properties. These are available in sizes up to 61 cores, voltage grade 650/1100 V. Features include: provided with ISI marking against IS 1554 (Pt-1); and conforming to standard specifications like IS 1554 (Pt-1), BS 6346, 1EC227-1, 111. Configuration: multi-core/multi-pair, construction – conductor – solid/stranded, circular annealed, bare/tinned copper wire of 1.5 sq.mm, 2.5 sq.mm, 4.0 sq.mm; insulation – PVC, fully colour coded cores; core identification by printed numerals/letters also available on request; screen – screening by copper braid or aluminium mylar tape or aluminium wire for reinforced armour types; drain wire – drain wire of solid/stranded, bare/tinned copper wire normally provided; and mechanical protection – galvanised steel wire or strip or double helical steel tape armour, inner and outer sheath.
