CCV Lines

Supermac Industries offers CCV Line. It is used for LV/MV power cables. Specifications: voltage range: 6 to 66 kV; conduction cross-section - for copper 16 to 800 mm² and for aluminium 25 to 1000 mm²; thickness inside semiconductor - 0.5 to 1.5 mm; XLPE insulation thickness - 3 to12 mm; weight of cable - max 8 kg/m; diameter of cable - 8 to 75 mm; line speed - 2 to 30 mpm; and head type - triple head 35/75. Advantages includes: high tolerance of core layers due to excellent design and workman ship of triple extrusion cross head and capability to work with all three extruders at the same time; higher line speed, because of better control of heating and cooling system, special screw design gives the flexibility of running different type of material and also homogenous material all the time; accumulator design helps control the line speed by removing jerks and maintaining tension at different line speeds; cable gets curing in the CCV tube either by nitrogen or by steam and there after the cooling is done in the water; also different tube length are designed according to customers requirement; head design makes it easy to maintain, dismantle, assemble or clean and changing of tools for different size cables; and is user friendly and simple to understand, also ensures safety.
