Ram Ratna Agro-Plast manufactures RatnaLAN, category 5 UTP 4-pair LAN cables. These are high performance cables used increasingly for modern computer network systems. They form the backbone of modern data transmission in commercial environment, industries and high-rise "intelligent buildings". These cables are eminently capable of handling 100+ Mbps data rates. They are processed by using world-class machinery. Precision, consistency and repeatability are the hallmarks of the process. The conductor is made of pure electrolytic grade, super annealed, solid bare copper, and is insulated with premium quality PERATT grade polyethylene on a special extruder having the latest state-of-the-art facilities. With several online testing equipment, the cores are carefully twisted together with varying lays in order to reduce crosstalk, according to internationally accepted color codes. 4 pairs shall be cabled together with a nominal left hand lay length. The jacket is of special grade flame retartardant PVC with low smoke emission which meets the international specifications. Each coil is well tested on latest high frequency testing machine to ensure high performance of the cable.
