Cables, Fire Retardant

Satellite Cables, an ISO 9002 company, offers fire retardant, low smoke and fire survival cables. These are manufactured with special PVC formulation for sheathing material that prevents the propagation of flame along the length of the cable when exposed to fire. In addition, fire retardant low smoke cables emit low smoke and halogen emission is also reduced under fire conditions. These properties help immensely in fire fighting operations and prevention of further loss to costly equipment. Fire survival cables emit very low smoke and halogen as compared to FRLS cables. Fire survival cables are also available as per desired specifications. These cables having outer sheath with anti rodent/anti termite repulsion properties are also available. These cables undergo rigorous testing before marketing. All cables are made from EC grade aluminium and annealed high conductivity copper. All conductors conform to IS: 8130 and are insulated with the PVC compound by extrusion. For the purpose of identification of cores, various colours are used. The cables are available from single core to 100 cores and 1 mm? to 1000 mm?.
