Cables

Phoenix cables from Deco Industries, Delhi, are available in continuous lengths of 500 meters (+/- 5 percent) as multi-core armoured and unarmoured cables. These are up to 150 sq mm in size and sizes higher than this are generally packed in 250 meters (+/-5 percent) length. These cables are wound on a sturdy non-returnable wooden drum built to withstand the weight of the cable as well as handling abuses. They are marked on flange with necessary particulars as required by IS: 1554 (Part - 1) 1988 and equivalent internal specifications. These cables are manufactured using electrolytic grade copper and aluminium conductors. The PVC compound is of high quality and has got good dielectric and physical properties. Technical specifications: Single core: up to 1000 sq. mm. Multi core: up to 400 x 4 core up to 61 cores of 1.5/2.5 sq. mm. Power cables: Armoured and unarmoured single core up to 1000 sq. mm. Single core/Multicore PVC-insulated non sheathed and sheathed copper conductor and flexible cords for working voltage up to and including 1100 volts. Features: High dielectric strength: Breakdown voltage being 400-500 volt per mil. Permanence: Physical and electrical properties will not deteriorate even under severe ageing conditions. Thermal compatibility and high mechanical strength. Resistant to moisture, oils, chemicals, orrision, abrasion and ozone, etc. Fire retarding. Permanent colours.
