Cable Glands

Comet Brass Products manufactures a wide range of cable glands with state-of-the-art in-house facilities including foundry, machine shop and electroplating shop. The products are subjected to rigorous inspection at every stage of manufacture. Special testing equipment includes seal test, proof torque test, electrical continuity test, pull out test, etc, as per BS 6121. Other tests such as chemical analysis of raw material and rubber, plating thickness, etc, can be arranged. Standard material of construction is brass. Alternative materials include aluminium, mild steel and SS. Types include single/double compression, weatherproof/flameproof, armoured/unarmoured, twin/multicore, etc.
