Cable Carrier

KabelSchlepp has announced a new Cable Carrier – Rane Uniflex Advanced 1665. In addition to new Easytrax and Quicktrax, the all-round Uniflex Advanced series now is available in an additional sizes: like the smaller types before the proven 0665 has now been improved to be quieter, lighter and more effective – Uniflex Advanced 1665 with an inside height of 44 mm. This cost-effective all-rounder for long unsupported lengths is exceptionally light, quiet and effective due to the optimised carrier geometry. The cost-effective Uniflex range of cable carriers with a rugged double stop system for long unsupported travel lengths are part of the standard KabelSchlepp range of products. This cable carrier with diverse opening and covering variants has proven its practical application with numerous customers. But even proven products must be state-of-the-art and offer the potential for increasing effectiveness. New Uniflex Advanced is characterized by its optimised carrier geometry. The carrier has become lighter with even higher torsional rigidity, and it reaches acceleration values of up to 10 m/s². Even more, the cable carrier is especially quiet in operation; the reason for this is its integrated damping system with innovative damping elements. With this, KabelSchlepp is suitable for stricter noise protection requirements, and is making a contribution to reducing the (noise) emissions of an entire system. Uniflex is rotatable Like the smaller variants, the 1665 is equipped with an efficient ball joint mechanism, allowing quick opening to right and left by simply rotating it outward and swivelling up. The crossbars can be opened outward (type 030 design) or inward (type 40 design) the radius. When open, the crossbar remains on the chain link – this simplifies handling, saves time and prevents the crossbar from getting lost. However in case it was necessary to remove the crossbar from the chain link, it can likewise be completely detached simply by turning it. The new Uniflex generation is also available with a closed frame (type 020 design). A design with one-piece solid plastic chain links provides even greater rigidity, and is especially suitable for extreme loads, such as hydraulic hoses with small bend radii. It also is a very cost-effective solution.
