Cable Locators

Fluke offers Cable Locators, Fluke 2042. It is designed for use in tracing cables in walls and in the ground. It also locates fuses and breakers on final circuits, interruptions and short-circuits in cables, metal water and heating pipes in HVAC applications. It has built-in voltage measurement capabilities. Results are displayed on a backlit LCD bar-graph display. The digitally coded sender signal guarantees clear signal identification. It is supplied as a complete kit comprising transmitter and receiver in a purpose-made carrying case. The receiver also incorporates a lamp for work in low light. Additional transmitters are available to extend the instrument"s capabilities.
