Cable Gland Shrouds/Boots

Protection of metallic cable glands and bus-bars in the panels from damage, dust and corrosion, especially in humid and cold conditions, is very important. Shrouds made of hard plastic are difficult to mount and even after mounting they either break or become brittle on ageing or exposure to heat. Apart from this many models are not available due to high initial investment on tools and lack of guarantee from takers. Here comes aptly handy the PVC dip moulding process that made possible production of these shrouds and boots in attractive seamless finish with very low or no tooling burden on buyer. Preetham Products has already launched this product line and has the tooling ready for many gland sizes and bar joint types. The material used is flame retardant and RoHS/HSC compliant. These products are manufactured under ISO 9001:2000 QMS.
