BRAIDED MONOFILAMENT SLEEVES (RILSON - EXPANDO)

Udey Instruments offers Braided Monofilament Sleeves, RILSON-EXPANDO. It is used for cables, assemblies, etc. It is a protection sleeve that expands 60% manually and is made of Nylon 6.6 material. It is of good quality and standard. It expands manually and after the wires/ assemblies are covered, it is pulled so that the size contracts and tightly fits on the assembly and a cable tie is put on both ends. It finds applications in nuclear power station equipment, scientific, electronic, electric and telephonic apparatus and cables, electrical cabinets, television, aviation and marine for long lengths and wherever the sleeving must simultaneously resist rigorous mechanical restraints and heat and generally for all great series cabling. Features: monofilament - Polymide 6.6 heat stabilised; withstands high temperature up to 170°C; minimum temperature of use is -40°C; will expand to 160%, ie, 10 mm to 16 mm (higher expansion % available); flame retardant self extinguishing; light weight yet durable protection; important axial compression; braided sleeves can be used in rough condition (temperature, humidity, mechanical constraints, etc); radiation resistant up to 100 mega rads; high abrasion resistance; melting point is 260°C; halogen content < 0.01%; installs easily, self fitting over irregular shapes and sizes; and standard colours black or grey.
