Micron Cablecare offers Advanced Engineering Braided sleeves manufactured by Techflex, Inc, USA. These sleeves are flame retardant, will not support combustion, low outgassing, self-extinguishing, cut and abrasion resistant, and resist gasoline, engine chemicals, acids, bases, solvents and fuels, are easy to install, light in weight, and stronger than steel but very flexible. These sleeves are stable over high range of temperature from -70?C to 288?C. They are used in aerospace, military, telecom, marine and biomedical applications, etc. They are made from different fibres like Halar, Teflon, Kevlar, Vectron, etc. The company sells good quantities of Halar® (HR) expandable sleeves, commonly used where flammability, high temperature endurance and low outgassing are concerns. Halar is used in electrical automation and communication technology solutions. Halar is braided from very fine ECTFE copolymer monofilament. Halar sleeves resist a wide range of corrosive chemicals and organic solvents, including strong acids, chlorine and aqueous caustics.
