Coil Winding Machine

Vikrant Special Machines offers a high speed Coil Winding Machine, FLW Series, suitable for HV and LV coils of distribution and medium power transformer coils. Technical features: integral bed on which headstock is mounted and tailstock slides and rigidly clamped on; drive system consists of AC crane duty motor with EM brake (normally 'ON' type); reduction gearing and shifting gears for speed change; the machine is equipped with AC VVVF drive for stepless speed control within the ranges with soft start and controlled braking, tailstock with revolving centre; tailstock slides on precision machined bed by means rack and pinion; tailstock with split bush arrangement is optional; all shafts made from medium carbon steel, heat treated and run on antifriction bearings; all gears made from medium carbon steel, heat-treated and teeth generated by hobbing process; all shifting gears are on splines for effortless shifting, operation of machine is through twin foot switches; and machine equipped with 5-digit mechanical re-set type bi-directional turns counter. Accessories: auto rolling, plate type/roller type screw operated tension box, rotary encoder based electronic turns counter, collapsible winding former/mandrel, and spring balancer suspended 'S' bend tool; The operation is hydro-pneumatic or hydraulic, trolley mounted conductor brazing unit – 15 kVA, trolley mounted butt welding machine with annealing facility – 25 kVA, lead screw operated carriage with layering facility, motorised/manual multi conductor bobbin/reel stand, and motorised adjustable dia coil lifting tackle. The machine is available in three models, FLW 1.5NG, FLW 2.5NG and FLW 4 NG, with max load capacity (coil+former) 1500, 2500 and 4000 kg, respectively.
