Coil winding machine

Vikrant Special Machines offers heavy-duty/high torque Coil Winding Machine, CW and CWNG Series. These are suitable for HV and LV coils disc and helical windings of large power transformer coils. Technical features: headstock separately grouted on floor; bed separately grouted on floor on which tailstock is mounted; optionally integral bed is supplied – on customers request; and three optional drive systems are available. Fixed speed machine: 2/4 steps, drive is from an AC crane duty motor, fluid coupling, EM/hydraulic thrustor brake (normally `On’ type), worm reduction gearbox finally through 2/4 speed gearbox. Single speed machine with stepless speed control through AC VVVF drive: the drive is from an AC crane duty motor, EM/hydraulic thrustor brake (normally `On’ type), worm reduction gearbox and finally through single speed gearbox. The VVVF drive provides an added advantage of smooth jerk free start/stop with adjustable braking time. Two speed machine with speed control through AC VVVF drive: low speed with high torque is suitable for winding with frequent stoppages, and higher speed is suitable for continuous winding with lesser conductor cross section. The drive is from an AC crane duty motor, EM – hydraulic thrustor brake (normally `On’ type), worm reduction gearbox and finally through two speed gearbox. Speed is infinitely variable in both the speed range. The VVVF drive provides the added advantage of smooth jerk free start/stop with adjustable braking time.
