Coil Winding Machine For Distribution Transformer

Vikrant Special Machines offers Coil Winding Machine for Distribution Transformer, CWM Series. These are suitable for HV and LV coils, disc and spiral winding with strip conductors for distribution transformers. The drive system consists of AC crane duty motor, worm reduction gearbox, EM solenoid brake (normally 'On'), and two-speed gearbox. The machine is equipped with AC VVVF drive for stepless speed control within range with soft start and controlled braking. The operation of the machine is through twin foot switches. A 5-digit mechanical re-set type bi-directional turns counter is fitted to the main spindle by means chain sprocket arrangement. The tailstock has three variations: A. Revolving centre with sleeve and handwheel; B. Split bush type; and C. Flanged spindle type – fixed. Technical features: tailstock slides on bed manually and is rigidly clamped, all shafts made from medium carbon steel, heat treated and run on antifriction bearings, all gears are made of medium carbon steel, heat treated, and teeth generated by hobbing process, and operation of machine through twin foot switches.
