Varnish Impregnated Dry Type Transformers

Varnish Impregnated Dry Type Transformers are manufactured upto 1 MVA, 11 KV they are available in both class ‘F’ class ‘H’ insulation. Standards units are provided with 4 tapping. Two 2.5% above normal and two 2.5% below normal ( + 2 x 2.5%). The tap changing is by means of off circuit links. Ventilated enclosure having a degree of Ingress Protection of IP 45 is provided for outdoor installations and upto IP 33 for indoor installations. Terminations can be either bare bushings, cable box or bus duct depending upon the requirement. These transformers conform to IS 11171 and IEC 726.
