Variable Voltage Auto Transformer

Voltamp Controls (India) Pvt Ltd makes Varivolt, which is a continuously variable voltage autotransformer. Varivolt contains CRGO toroidal core wound with electrolytic superior grade of copper wire. It has movable carbon tip (special grade imported carbon) fixed to a brush arm rotating on a silver plated commutator. It delivers output voltage from zero to above line voltage. It is manufactured conforming to IS 5142 of 1969. This unit with rugged construction has good efficiency and regulation. It does not involve any waveform distortion in the system. Overload capacity, low operating torque, smooth and linear output and low magnetizing current are the important features of the unit. Applications: Textile, plastic and rubber manufacturing industries
