Ultra Isolation Transformer

South Eastern Equipment Company (SEECO), India's largest transformer manufacturer, offers an Ultra Isolation Transformer. This has no electrical connection between the primary and secondary windings. Power is transferred from the primary to the secondary winding by the induced magnetism in the transformer's core. The design involved is so fine that any disturbances (transients) that appear on the input side are filtered and clean output appears on the output side. SEECO ultra isolation transformers are multi-shielded transformers exhibiting low capacitance between primary and secondary windings, attenuating common mode noise generated by power consuming sources. Specialised shielding between windings dramatically reduces the winding to winding capacitance and this acts as a barrier to destructive voltage spikes frequently occurring on utility supply lines. Equipment will be supplied either for 120 V, 230 V or 415 V supply. As shown in the figure the unit will have both input and output connections, which can be taken out through the knock out. In three phase models, the company can design up to 500 kVA on specific enquiry. The picture shows a 250 kVA model for telephone, railway services, petroleum pipeline and large power projects. All equipments are CPRI tested at Bangalore and Bhopal. The company also offers Isolation Transformer, On-line UPS, etc.
