It specialises in: transformer manufacturer up to 15 MVA 66 kV Class; repair of extra high voltage (EHV) power transformers and reactors up to 220 kV Class at its works; overhauling and reconditioning of extra high voltage (EHV) power transformers and reactors up to 400 kV Class; erection, testing and commissioning of extra high voltage (EHV) power transformers and reactors up to 400 kV Class at site; and online transformer oil filtration by Fowler Westrup make 6000 LPH double stage high vacuum machine with online PPM facility.

The company has a well established infrastructure with facilities like: crane capacity for loading and unloading of various activities – 125/10 T, 50/10 T and 15/5 T EOT crane facility; five collapsible and 15 adjustable formers for winding; autoclave oven facility up to 100 mVA transformers; in-house fabrication facility to manufacture transformer tanks; core building on core building cradles; five horizontal winding machines of 15T, 10T and 5T SWL; crimping method for lead connections; electrical brazing is used for winding joints; and all equipment has been installed for up to 220 kV class.
