LE Transformers India Ltd manufactures a range of (oil and air cooled) single-, two- and three-phase Power and Distribution Transformers form 25 kva to 1250 kva of 11 kv and 22 kv and 33 kv class. A transformer is made of copper and aluminium. Transformer tanks are made from mild steel and designed to avoid damage of specially alloyed electrical laminated core to reduce no load losses and noise level of transformer, properly insulated winding and to be tested under pressure. The tank is internally painted with oil and heat resistant paint and zinc chromate red oxide primer. LE Transformers India Ltd (formerly known as Lakshmi Enterprises), has vast experience in transformer design, development, production, quality control and servicing. Its modern manufacturing plant with state-of-the-art manufacturing and testing facilities conforms to norms as per CPRI – Central Power Research Institute – Bangalore; ERDA – Electrical Research Development Association – Vadodara; Anna University – High Voltage Lab – Chennai; IIT Chennai – High Voltage Lab; and standards accredited to ISO-9001: 2000.
