Oil Filled Power Distribution Transformer

The company offers Oil Filled Power Distribution Transformers up to 12500 kVA, 37.5 kV class besides dry type (VPI) transformers, furnace duty transformers, neutral transformers, earthing transformers, isolation transformers, dual output transformers and other special duty transformers, as per customer’s requirement. Transtron products are designed, manufactured and tested strictly as per IS-2026/BS-11171/IEC-60076 standards. Constructional features: magnetic circuit of the transformer is made by assembling high grade cold rolled grain oriented silicon steel laminations having high permeability and low hystersis loss; HV and LV windings are fabricated in shape of coils, perfectly circulator in section, with high conductivity copper/ aluminium conductor; these coils are dried and pressed to pre-determined stack heights, assembled concentrically on the core and magnetically balanced with respect to each other, thus minimising mechanical stresses; core and coil assembly is clamped by clamping structure and is dried for a specified heating cycle, under controlled temperature to drive away any moisture; once drying is complete, the assembly is put inside the pre-fabricated tank, clamped and filled with filtered, dehydrated transformer oil; and all electrical connections are made and complete set of accessories is fitted. The transformer, after painting becomes ready for testing.
