South Eastern Equipment Co offers Dry Type Transformers. Range: SEECO supplies up to 1 MVA 11 kV class with insulation up to Class "H". Facilities are available to manufacture impedance transformers for lighting applications as per specific requirements. Application: automatic energy establishments, power station auxiliaries, chemical works, shipboard distribution, etc. In general there are two categories: Series reactors and Shunt reactors. Series reactors: application in fault limiting on transmission and distribution systems for matching circuit. Shunt reactors: application in PF/kVAR control of supply lines and are in air cored construction, also can be used in UPS, thyristor drives, variable frequency drives, etc. The company manufactures all types of furnace transformers in accordance with customer specifications having temperature indices in IEC 216-1. Range: up to 1 MVA. Power rectifier transformers for large and small installation have applications in electrolytic process; DC control for atomic energy, arc furnaces and fertilizer plants up to 20 000 A capacity.
