The standard range is from 100 kVA to 5000 kVA with highest primary voltage is 33 kV offering various design options to specified requirement like. Low voltage high current windings are manufactured with copper foils, which does withstand better for short circuit forces. HV windings are layer type with round or rectangular copper conductors insulated with paper or enamel covered. Diamond dotted paper is used as an interlayer insulation material, which holds the layers at drying process and give good mechanical strength to withstand short circuit forces.
