Current Transformers

MTE current transformers (CTs) are made for a long lasting use, with low loss CRGO silicone steel strips in continuously wound toroidal cores, which are nitrogen annealed. The super enamelled copper wires/ropes of high conductivity are used as primary or secondary windings. Made for different applications, some of the examples are auxiliary CTs, core balance CTs, summation CTs, interposing CTs, etc. Normally the CTs are used for measurement and protection purposes. Features: all CT?s tested as per IS: 2705 ? 1992 or BS 3938/73 or IEC 185; accuracy and burden of client choice in any dimension required; safe design; minimum 3 kV insulation between primary and secondary windings in LT CTs; wide selection of CTs in tape wound or cast resin type and type tested at CPRI, Bhopal, ERDA, Vadodara, etc.
