Core Balance Current Transformer (ZCT)

Established in 1995, Veritek Engineering is into manufacturing of current transformers, electronic protective relays, electrical transducers and indicating instruments for more than a decade. The company offers a core balance current transformer (ZCT). Features: all current ratios available to match commonly available ELRs; slim design; light weight; encapsulated CBCT; terminals are finger proof touch as per IEC class; highly cost effective; and compact in size. Specifications: system voltage – 720 V maximum; insulation voltage – 3 kV for 1 minute; system frequency – 50 Hz or 60 Hz; max permissible current – 1 kA continuous, 5 kA for 1.5 sec; terminals conductor – £2.5 mm2; current ratio – 1/1000, 1/600 any other on request; distance between – <50 metres; toroid and relay operating temperature – -20° to +70°C; humidity – <95% RH (non condensing); enclosure – flame retardant glass filled ABS; complaint with – IEC 44-1 and IEC185; mounting – four fixing slots. Models available: VIPS – CBCT 35 (35 mm ID), VIPS – CBCT 70 (70 mm ID); VIPS – CBCT 120 (120 mm ID); VIPS – CBCT 210 (210 mm ID); and any other size circular/rectangular CBCT on request.
