Powerex CVTs, also known as ferro-resonant type automatic AC voltage regulators/stabilisers, offer an effective and reliable solution. Powerex CVTs are manufactured as per international specifications; input voltage - 180-270 V AC @ rated load, 150-280 V AC @ load below 75%; line regulation - ?1% (for 180-270 V AC), ?2% (for 160-270 V AC); load regulation - ?2% at any load from 20% to 100%; response time - for a given line voltage change within the rated limits, the output voltage will return to the regulation envelope within 25 milliseconds; and efficiency - full-load efficiency better than 85%.
