Institute of Testing and Certification India Pvt Ltd (ITC India Pvt Ltd) is a laboratory, which is compliant with ISO 17025 and is accredited by NABL and IABCBL, UK. The laboratory undertakes Testing against international standards for Electronic and Electrical Products including solar products. It is one of the first labs in the private sector with infrastructure for solar testing. The company has a focus on testing and reporting with a purpose of improving the products under testing. Test report issued by the laboratory are accepted by most of the European Notified Bodies such as VOP, EUROCERT, CERMET as they are based on international standard for reporting test results. The company has a tie up with notified bodies in Europe for CE certification and GOST certification and other certification based on our test reports. It has developed a testing facility to conduct EMC testing limited to conducted immunity and has tie-ups in place to conduct the radiated immunity tests as well. Both EMI and low voltage safety are now gaining popularity among manufacturers and the regulators, this is evident because of increased EMI radiations that are now surrounding the human population and affecting lives and devices and also the frequency with which the EMI compatibility standards are being changed. Safety testing at design stage, though uncommon in India, is slowly getting popular as cost of rejection at client end is getting prohibitive. The company offers testing at design stage, pre-shipment inspection, portable appliance testing, electrical safety audits, installation validation for solar plants against EN/IEC 62446, and forensic engineering as extended range of services.
