Photoelectric Fork Switch

Shiva Electronics offers a new fork switch (slot seansor) with built-in circuit in three wire version, which operates on 10 to 24 V DC supply. The sensor works on infrared principle and any object (opaque or transparent) blocking the fork beam will make the contactor 0n or Off. It is available in ABS plastic housing with 20 mm and 50 mm gap, and 45 mm depth. Output is available through NPN or PNP transistor and through solid state contacts rated for 200 mA. Both the logic, NO or NC, are available in this unit, which is suitable for continuous use. It is useful for non-contact sensing, switching, controlling and interlocking in various food processing, packaging, SPMs, paper and pulp plants, pharmaceutical, textile industries, etc.
