P G Electronics offers a miniature Optical Switch with TEACH facility, type EIR 301 – T12. The latest miniaturised version of optical (infra red based) switch EIR 301-12T with TEACH function is now available. The compact size yet having a long adjustable sensing distance of 25-200 mms and TEACH push button function for setting distance makes it versatile for industrial use. Besides saving space it offers instant and reliable distance setting. A dual lamp indicator lights up in Red when an object is sighted and it turns green at the point where the distance is set by the user. The value remains stored even on power outage. It can be used for counting or locating an object on running belt or pallet. Suitable for operation on 10-30 V DC in a tough polycarbonate enclosure the tiny switch admeasures 50 x 35 x 12 mm having trailing 3 core cable of 2 mtr length. It can be installed and secured in place using 2 screws.
