Micro Switches, Sealed V4

Wilbrecht LEDCO, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of micro precision SA, has announced its newly redesigned MP500 series of V4 micro switches. The improved V4 micro switches offer a reduced differential movement of 0.05 mm and below to better accommodate industrial applications such as electromagnetic brakes or pressure switches that requires very small differential movements to operate correctly. Although compact V4 switches deliver size and price advantages over alternative solutions, they have traditionally been mostly used in automotive and appliance applications, in which differential movement is not a consideration. With their low differential movement of a maximum of 0.05 mm, however, the MP500 series of V4 micro switches can now provide an ideal solution for a wide range of industrial OEM applications. The redesigned MP500 series of V4 micro switches deliver a precise changeover movement throughout their long mechanical life span of 10 million cycles. The switches are approved under EN61058 for 250 V AC – 2 A under 50’000 cycles and are also supplied with gold contacts for 24 V DC – 0.1 A applications. The IP67 sealed switches are available with PCB or solder pins, as well as cable or wire versions, which can be custom made upon request. The company manufactures custom micro switches, sealed position switches, precision LED assemblies and metal foil resistors.
