LOW COST PRESSURE SWITCH

Orion SM series low cost pressure switches are now available in pressure ranges from 0.1 kg/cm² to 15 kg/cm². These pressure switches are reliable, compact and low cost. The overall dimensions are 38 mm dia by 65 mm height. The weight of standard models is 180 gm. These pressure switches can be used to sense the presence or absence of pressure and to switch on/off electrical circuits when the predetermined pressure is reached. These switches can be supplied in 1 SPDT or 2 SPDT microswitch versions. The switches can be used for a variety of working media by selecting appropriate wetted parts. The electrical switching element is an SPDT snap action microswitch for reliable changeover. The microswitch is rated at 5 A, 250 V AC. Some of the applications are in lubrication systems, to prevent excess pressure build-up in hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders, spot welding machines, for pneumatic clamping jigs and fixtures with predetermined pressure, textile machinery safety systems, paint systems to name just a few. Pressure switches are also offered in various ranges from 15 mm wg to 600 bar.
