Load Break Switch

Venkat Switchgears, an ISO 9001-2008 certified company, offers a range of Load Break Switches. The 11/12 kV LBS is suitable to use in indoor and outdoor application panel/kiosk/RMU. The load break switches can be used for the switching on and off of transformers and in/out operations. The switch has auxiliary contacts and may be used for on and off indications. The switch has optional earth switch and provision for striker pin HRC fuses which works as a protection for transformer. The type tests conducted by the company at CPRI, Bangalore are as follows: lightning impulse and power frequency voltage withstand test (dry); as per IEC 62271-100/2001 LI 75 kV (peak) and PF 28kV; temperature rise test at 630 A and milli volt drop test IEC 62271-1-100-2008/IEC: 62271-1-2007; short-time and peaks withstand current tests as per IS:9920 (Part 1): 2002/IEC 60265-1 (1998); and mechanical endurance instruction tests for 1000 operations as per customer instruction.
