Infrared Photoelectric Switches

Triveni Engg & Marketing offers a range of rugged infrared photoelectric switches in all four detection modes, ie, thru beam, diffuse beam, retro reflex and polarized reflex. Modulation of infrared light and special circuitry ensures very high ambient light immunity. For photoelectric switches having separate amplifier and control unit supply voltage options are 230/110/24/12 V AC and 24 V DC. Outputs are potential-free relay contacts and NPN transistor. Provision for on delay, off delay and gain adjustment is available on the control unit. Light On, Dark On function is wire selectable. For built-in amplifier and control type photoelectric switches, the supply voltage is between 12 and 24 V DC, output is NPN/PNP transistor. Protections include short circuit of load, reverse polarity, power on spike and inductive load. Maximum ranges obtainable are 35-m in thru beam, 2-m in diffuse beam, 10-m in retroreflex and 4-m in polarized reflex. Applications include object sensing, positioning, counting, roll diameter, loop and level control.
