Application: the relay provides time graded phase and earth fault (2 stage) protection, (high impedance) restricted earth fault/sensitive earth fault protection with communication facility. Features include multishort auto recloser facility for breaker operation, monitoring breaker status and gives indication about trip coil healthiness. MODBUS communication protocol over RS-485 facilitates interfacing the relay with SCADA systems and RS-232/USB communication port provided at the front of the relay allows engineers to program the relay with ease. Also it has IEC61850 compatibility port to interface to SCADA system. This relay also has TCSR, LBB protection, comprehensive fault record and card draw-out type relay with 4 programmable digital input and 4 programmable digital output.
