Engine Protection Relays

Power Services offers Engine Protection Relay. It protects the engine from over speed, low oil pressure, and low fuel, hi-radiator temperature. It has an electronics protection system that gets input from various sensors of speed, oil pressure, fuel-level, and radiator-temperature. These inputs are constantly monitored and compared with their respective limiting values. The moment, any one or more parameter crosses their limit, separate LED indicator glows, hooter actuates and a timer (30-60 sec) starts to stop the engine. The relay is used in DG set monitoring, protection, and alarms. Specifications: auxiliary supply - 12 V/24 DC; sensors - hi-speed - gen frequency (single phase out put from alternator); built-in; low oil pressure: pressure switch type (N/O); low fuel - float switch type (N/O); hi-radiator temperature - bi-metallic thermostat (N/O); Output - hooter - 1 change-over (potential free); stop solenoid - 1 change-over (potential free); and timer - for stop solenoid built-in.
