Rotary cam switches are assembled on packet principle. Packets are manufactured from selected insulating material, which can withstand mechanical and electrical stresses. Each packet houses two independent sets of double break type silver tipped contacts which ensure effective making and breaking, giving long and trouble free services. Various cams are used depending upon contacts sequence for making and breaking, which is achieved by operating the knob. Design: STS cam operated rotary switches are assembled on packet principle; switches are manufactured from selected industrial insulating material having perfect electrical properties. Each packet houses independent sets of silver tipped contacts. Cams are used depend upon the making and breaking style. Switches are designed to suit the application of ammeters, voltmeter selector switches and as phase sequence changer. Mounting: STS cam operated switches are suitable for flush mounting at the back of the unit.
