Belt-Sway Switch

AG Mechanical Enterprises offers Belt-sway Switch Type ME-BSS/DC designed for automatic control of conveyor belt system, and be utilised for the purpose of tripping the conveyor in case of excessive swaying of belt on either side and will avoid further nuisance disruption. Belt-sway switch is heavy duty with sturdy cast iron/aluminium body and nylon roller with MS lever. The switch is totally enclosed dust and weatherproof with IP-65 degree of protection. Casting thickness not less than 2 mm to be increased wherever necessary. Considering the duty of the switch has to perform, all components and parts have been suitably designed and manufactured four numbers of conduit entries of 3/4"dia have been provided in the switch body. The contact block of the momentary contact limit switches has a moulded bakelite base bearing the fixed and moving contacts and the terminals. The moving contacts of the element are resiliently mounted. All contacts have a silver facing. The contact consist of moving contact with fixed silver contacts which serves to switch over the circuits. The make and break operation of the switch is effected by the nylon roller which is actuated by conveyor belt with the movement of the roller. The contact rating of the switch is 10 Amps 240 V AC with 2 NO and 2 NC/1 NO and 1 NC contact.
