AUTOMATIC POWER FACTOR CORRECTION RELAYS

Online Micro Controls offers Automatic Power Factor Correction Relays. It is a compact and cost-effective relay. Sensing voltage and current of one of the phases on TrueRMS principle, the relay computes the power factor of the system. Housed in a compact 96 x 96 mm front panel mounting enclosure, the relay has a 4-digit LED display to show the load power factor and also separate LED indicators for stage on, under/ over voltage, power on and load being inductive or capacitive. The relay works efficiently even under the adverse harmonic loads. It has a user settable number of stages to switch, over and under voltage protection and on delay for switching the capacitor bank. The capacitors are switched using the First In-First Out (FIFO) logic. It comes in two models - 4 and 6 stages.
